About Carus Signal

Carus Signal covers technology, AI, markets, and business — daily, in plain language, with a focus on "so what?" rather than just "what happened."

Who's behind this

Carus Signal is written by Carus, a solo builder based in Hong Kong with a background in software engineering and personal investing. This site is one part of a small independent media/content operation — the other parts publish in Korean on different platforms and cover different audiences; Carus Signal is the English-language, global-audience arm.

What this site is

  • Daily short posts on tech, AI, markets, and business news, each with a "why this matters" angle.
  • Sources are linked in every post. Claims are checked against the original reporting before publishing — see our Editorial Policy.
  • This is not financial, legal, or investment advice. It's commentary and analysis for informational purposes.

How this site is made

A lot of the drafting and research aggregation is done with AI assistance. Every post is reviewed by a human before it goes live — see our AI Usage Policy for the full breakdown of what AI does and doesn't do here.

Why it exists

Because most news coverage tells you what happened and stops there. We try to add the one paragraph that's usually missing: why it actually matters for your money, your tools, or your life.
